Welcome Friends! Great to be here on the first day of the blogging Challenge. I am so excited to take on this challenge and hope that you will journey along with me for the next 30 days (minus Sundays) of April.
The theme of EncourageMeKids is of course "Encourage Someone Today" and to help that along, when you see *SASE after the post for the day, if you send me a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE) 2804 8th St., Columbus, NE 68601, I will send you three Encouragement Cards. Just let me know which day or design. With that said, here is Day 1.

ASAP - As soon as possible - Always Say A Prayer
When things aren't going right, or when they are - As soon as possible - Always Say A Prayer. Bring God into the situation. I have a friend who tells her kids she is "going over their head" to take the problem to God. You see, He has a better perspective than our view. When there seems to be no solution He has a way of helping us. We just need to include Him in the problem.

"I am the LORD, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea." Isaiah 43:16
Someone told me the other day, "I don't know why we are so surprised when God works things out for us...After all He is God!" What a great reminder of how powerful He is and how with His help we are overcomers. Remember to cast your cares onto Him as soon as possible - Always Say A Prayer!
